A new set of balance changes has arrived in Brawl Stars and they're absolutely massive. Well, not really.

The August balance changes introduce buffs and nerf that seek to remedy certain brawlers, Gadgets, and Star Powers that have either been too weak or powerful in the current meta.

Besides this, a crucial bug fix was implemented to resolve an issue that caused the game to crash when players launched the app.

But back to the main point, here's a look at the Brawl Stars balance changes for August 2023.

In the recent balance changes, buffs and nerfs were introduced to the game as customary.

Bull, Doug, Gale, Hank, Jacky, and Rosa were buffed. Meanwhile, Cordelius, Crow, and Shelly were nerfed.

Brawler

Balance Changes
Bull
  • Increased base damage from 400 to 440
  • Increased Super charge slightly
Cordelius
  • Cordelius no longer charges Super in the shadow realm
  • Cordelius can no longer use Super in the shadow realm
  • Reduced silence time of Poison Mushroom Gadget from 1.5 seconds to 1 second
Crow
  • Decreased Extra Toxic Star Power damage reduction from 25% to 20%
Doug
  • Decreased Super charge (still 5 hits to no effective change)
  • Increased base HP from 4,800 to 5,000
  • Super can now go through walls
  • Resurrected targets have 100% HP (increase from 50%)
Gale
  • Increased base HP from 3,600 to 3,800
Hank
  • Increased base HP from 5,000 to 5,400
  • Increased Super damage from 1,000 to 1,320
Jacky
  • Increased Pneumatic Booster Gadget speed from 20% to 25%
  • Increased Pneumatic Booster Gadget duration from 3 seconds to 4 seconds
Rosa
  • Added Tank trait (charges Super from damage taken)
Shelly
  • Movement speed decreased from very fast to fast
