This month's new season, Spider-Versus brings us some interesting new cards to play with. In this guide, we will look into the main card of the season, Ghost-Spider.
In June 2023, Marvel Snap brought a new Spider-Men, Spider-Woman, and Spider-Ham. One might say there’s a lot to take in across the Spider-Verse. This month's season is called “Spider-Versus,” which is a huge celebration for all types of heroes who don the Spider mask.
Throughout this season pass, there are new cards to be unlocked and used to conquer your enemies, lock down locations, and even stealthily move from one place to the next.
In this guide, we are going to go over the first new card in this set, Ghost-Spider. We also have some deck recommendations to use her in as well!
What Does Ghost-Spider Do?
Ghost-Spider is a 2/3 card with the On Reveal ability keyword that says, “The last card you played moves here.”
She is going to be the easiest card to unlock from this season's pass due to her being the card you’re rewarded with for buying it! Now, onto the decks.
If you're looking to upgrade your gaming experience in mobile games, we recommend using a Razer Kishi mobile game controller .
Mobile Control Deck
This deck has a lot of interesting microplay. It consists of some of the meta’s strongest cards at the moment, Green Goblin, Galactus, The Hood, and Hobgoblin, but is also accompanied by some cards that can be used as heavy hitters by themselves, such as Debrii, Viper, and Spider-Woman.
Then we have our niche heavy hitters such as Iron Fist and Carnage to close up the pack.
Our engine is going to consist of cards that allow us to move around the board to establish dominance, such as Iron Fist and Ghost Spider!
This deck will work with or without Galactus as the last card played. The sole focus of the deck is to be as unpredictable as possible by using our engine to flick cards from one location to the next.
Along the way, we will want to send our opponent some Goblins as well to make sure they have a difficult time climbing out on top.
My Name Jeff Deck
Jeff is here. Many players don’t like Jeff but we over here at MobileMatters love him.
This deck is another deck that is centered around high mobility and flooding the board.
We have our engine cards which enable us to swing around locations, Iron Fist, Ghost-Spider, Polaris, and Cloak. These will combo greatly with Miles Morales, Vulture, and our boy Jeff.
Then if there’s any help we need cleaning up the match our options include Doctor Doom, Leader, America Chavez, and Killmonger!
This deck is synergized very nicely so no matter who you draw you will find something to do to reach your goal which is to flood the board with all your cool dudes.
The Number Three Combo
This Ghost-Spider-centric deck has the same movement engine from the last two decks but replaces some of the bigger, harder-hitting cards with cards that will combo nicely with being moved.
We’ve built this deck in such a way that no matter who is drawn, you can do a lot of combos and navigate your way around the game state.
Usually, most decks will have one or two high-power, heavy-hitting cards grasped onto, and that isn’t the case here in the slightest.
We’ve swapped out the big guys with the nimble combo enablers this time. Some great early to mid-game combos will be Iron Fist and Dagger, Dagger, Ghost-Spider, Cloak, and Dagger. Replace Dagger with Human Torch at your discretion.
If worst comes to worst, we can use our friend Juggernaut to mix things up for our opponent.
That’s just three decks of many that Ghost-Spider can be of use in. If you liked this guide please check out some of our other guides below!
