A hamster turned into a real-life-sized friend? What more can you ask for?
Dubu is the large and boisterous hamster companion in Omega Strikers we all wished we had. He lives to protect his friends and allies from danger.
Dubu was originally found as a normal-sized hamster, and unbeknownst to his owner, Juliette, he was a mutant.
Growing in size from a small rodent to the large man we see today Dubu and his owner-turned-friend Juliette decided to take to the amateur Omega Strike leagues and eventually ascended to the big times.
Dubu's Abilities
Here's a look at Dubu's abilities:
- Somersault: Dubu dashes in a direction. At max range or on impact with an enemy, stun, and deal medium hit damage to surrounding enemies. 20s cooldown.
- Rollout: Creating a bamboo log that blocks enemies and then rolls forward as a decelerating projectile that deals damage when an enemy is hit.
- Tofu Fortress: Dubu launches an arc of projectiles that deals damage and creates a block on impact or at max range.
How To Play Dubu
What these skills allow Dubu to do is twofold: he can block the enemy's core with any of these attacks, and the knockback on every attack that hits an opponent is monumental, so it pushes them away from the core, the team, and the goal.
He can be an amazing disruptor with his Somersault skill and when his Tofu Fortress is off of cool down he can create a wall anywhere on the field.
Not to mention that his Rollout ability is a great way to fake out the opponent and potentially get a first hit on the core.
