The small but deadly assassin is here to play ball.
Zentaro is a small-stature sword master with the speed of a demon on the Corestrike field in Omega Strikers.
He's an elusive assassin that picks his opponents strategically during the match, when he's invisible on the field almost nothing can stop him.
Raised on an isolated island far away from civilization, Zentaro had an interesting life. Growing up in a land where Oni and Humans are enemies and are constantly in a state of some sort of dysfunction.
Zentaro is a half-oni, so even being alive is dangerous. Eventually, he had to run away from the island to protect his family, and that's where Zentaro found and fell in love with Corestrike. Now, he strives to win the championship and uses the prize money to get his parents over to the city to live in peace.
Zentaro's Skills in Omega Strike
Here's a look at Zentaro's skills:
- Slashing Strike (Passive): Charge up by hitting targets. At 10 charges, Slashing Strike will dash
you forward and fire a piercing projectile that hits the first enemy struck. - Iai Rush: Blink in a line after a delay, hitting all enemies along your travel path
- Slice and Dice: Deal a LIGHT hit in a small arc, followed by a larger slash that hits enemies in the centre.
- Oni's Blade: Blink to a nearby location and become Elusive, repeatedly dealing LIGHT hits to enemies caught in the area. Afterwards, hit all nearby enemies away.
How To Play Zentaro
If you're familiar with League of Legends Yasuo and Ekko, we think you'll feel at home playing Zentaro. His passive is what you want to focus on while slowly stripping away the health of enemies.
With Slashing Strike, after ten successful hits on the enemy, Zentaro will fire a projectile that pierces shields at the first enemy he struck.
Ideally, we want to be as mobile as possible, and that's where Iai Rush and Oni's Blade come in handy.
These skills will allow you to zip across the field but also deal hits on the enemies to stack up the Slashing Strike passive.
Oni's Blade is particularly important to use because it will allow Zentaro to become elusive and sneak in any potential attacks he can get on unsuspecting opponents.
