Rocket League Sideswipe Season 4 is now out bring a sense of fantastical adventure to the mobile socCar game.

Players will have a brand new Rocket Pass to grind, a new Arena to compete in, and new game modes to test their skills.

The season takes inspiration from fantasy stories like that of King Arthur with the Eggscalibur Arena and Battle Axe topper just some of what is in store for players.

Rocket League Sideswipe Season 4 - Release Date

Initially delayed, Rocket League Sideswipe Season 4 was officially released on Thursday, July 5.

To download the update simply launch the game from your device and it will update it automatically.

Rocket League Sideswipe Season 4 - Rocket Pass

Included with the new season is a brand new Rocket Pass. Featuring over 50 tiers of rewards, players will be able to unlock new decals, goal explosions, wheels, and toppers, all with a fantastical theme.

Best of all Rocket League Sideswipe does not charge for the Rocket Pass, so all the items in the Rocket League Sideswipe Season 4 are available for free - you just need to earn enough XP throughout the season.

The following items are available in the Rocket League Sideswipe Season 4 Rocket Pass:

  • Battle Axe Topper
  • Magic Missile Boost
  • Quartz Goal Explosion

New Game Mode - Mutator Madness

Season 3 of 3v3 and this season is once again offering up players new ways to play with the introduction of Mutator Madness.

This new game mode will give players the opportunity to shape its very mechanics. Played in two phases, in the weekend phase, players will play with a number of mutations; it could be with decreased gravity or increased ball speed, and will then be given the choice of upvoting or downvoting the mutation.

Once the votes are in, the weekend phase will begin, with the Mutator Settings with the most upvotes being made available over that weekend. These games will offer up Double XP, so a great opportunity to level up your Rocket Pass.

The ever-popular Hoops mode also returns.
