Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile's limited release has finally reached another country, with Sweden being announced as the next stop as the game moves toward its global launch.

The Scandinavian country will join Australia as the only two countries the game is officially available.

Those residing in Sweden can technically play now, though the developers did caution it may take some time to be made available across all app stores and devices.

In a message posted on the official Warzone Mobile Discord channel, the developers warned players outside the region they could face technical troubles if they try to access the game from outside of Sweden.

"If you are far away from this region we do not recommend trying to connect, just like with Australia, since it will likely result in a poor poor experience or an inability to access the game."

"Instead, keep an eye out more Limited Release news."

The addition of Sweden follows the announcement that Warzone Mobile would be adding regions "gradually," with Co-Studio Head, Chris Plummer stating last week that the approach would allow the team to get "better at taking the feedback in live."

Plummer also stated that a country from Europe and South America would be next in line for a shot at Warzone Mobile, with Sweden taking that coveted Europe spot, mobile gamers in South America will now be waiting to hear if their country is the lucky one.

Anticipation for Warzone Mobile is high. The game recently announced it had surpassed over 35 million pre-registrations, a record for an Activision Blizzard game (not including China).

Many will be left disappointed today knowing they won't have the chance to play Warzone Mobile quite yet; however, they can take some solace in the fact that, with the addition of the first European country to the soft launch, it feels like a big step toward the game's global release.
