In this guide, we’ll break down how to reroll in Chaos Zero Nightmare, how long it takes, and which characters are worth your time.
Starting strong in Chaos Zero Nightmare can make a world of difference, especially since the gameplay is built around assembling the best team possible.
With powerful 5-Star Combatants defining much of the early meta, many players will turn to rerolling—a popular process in gacha games, where people reset their game account to get better characters from their beginning character pulls.
We'll admit that rerolling can generally be a bit of a grind, but for those chasing the perfect team, it can be well worth the effort. Fortunately, ferolling in Chaos Zero Nightmare is fairly straightforward but mostly time-consuming.
How to Reroll Characters in Chaos Zero Nightmare
To start, install Chaos Zero Nightmare and launch it. Play through the mandatory tutorial stage until you gain access to the beginner summoning banner, known as the 'Special Rescue Request' banner.
Use your initial pulls to get a character. Bear in mind that you're guaranteed a standard 5-star Combatant upon the first 30 pulls on that banner. You're also guaranteed a 4-star or higher Combatant or Partner every 10 pulls.
If you're not happy with the character you pulled, then here's where you begin rerolling. First, head to the Main Menu.
Then, tap the three-horizontal-line button at the top-right corner of the screen. This will open a new menu.
Press the Settings button (gear icon), and head to 'Account Settings'.
After this, click the 'Reset Server' button to reset your account's progress. Doing so will send you back to the title screen.
The best part is that you don't have to create a new account with this reroll method. You can use the same one over and over again for future rerolls as long as you only reset the server.
Finally, repeat the entire process we've explained to begin rerolling your pulls. This process can take approximately 15-20 minutes per reroll run.
Best Characters to get in Rerolling
The best characters worth rerolling are Chizuru, Khalipe, and Renoa.
Chizuru is a Peltion Combatant who's ideal as your main attacker. This is because she can unleash insanely high levels of damage due to her close-quarter skills. Pulling her means you'll have a reliable damage dealer who doesn't shy away from combat.
Khalipe is a strong Combatant, hailing from the Stella Familia faction, who can inflict unbelievable damage on her enemies. So, pulling her from one of your rolls will be incredible for your team, especially during the early levels.
Renoa is a pistol-wielding Terrascion Combatant who is arguably one of the best ranged attackers in Chaos Zero Nightmare. She can dispatch any low- to medium-HP enemies with ease, which is perfect for clearing waves during missions.
All things considered, rerolling isn’t mandatory. But, it's one way to get a strong start to the rather rigorous storyline in Chaos Zero Nightmare.
