At long last, Trunk will be joining the Brawl Stars roster.

It's been a long time coming, but Supercell has confirmed that Trunk will be added to Brawl Stars on August 21, 2025.

The Epic-rarity Brawler, whose backstory describes them as "a colony of hyper-intelligent ants controlling a fake mechanical tree," was first revealed during June's Brawl Talk. Their arrival completes the 'Enchanted Woods' Brawler Trio, which previously only had Cordelius and Lily.

While most Brawlers are released at the beginning of every new season, Trunk has had a rather delayed introduction to the game — one that's already halfway through the current 'Knights of the Starr Table' season. The exact reason for this is unknown.

Regardless, the Brawl Stars community is glad they're finally being introduced to the game, as many see Trunk as the next Brawler that will dominate the meta.

This is largely due to Trunk's unique ability to drop ants on the battlefield. These ants, which last for 20 seconds, will provide Trunk with an additional 20% movement speed and a 30% damage buff when they stand near or on them.

These ants can be spawned by Trunk's Main Attack, Super, and 'For the Queen!' Gadget.

Trunk's Star Powers further buffs these ants with passive abilities. The 'New Insect Overlords' Star Power enables Trunk to apply a 15% attack debuff on enemies who are standing nearby or on the ants. Besides that, the 'Colony Scouts' Star Power enables the ants to reveal invisible enemies or enemies hidden in bushes.

Needless to say, Trunk is one extremely powerful Brawler. They are one that could potentially shift the meta and topple the dominance of other Brawlers, such as Kaze or Kenji.

You can unlock Trunk on the Starr Road by either collecting 925 Credits or paying 169 Gems. Trunk will be the 94th Brawler in the Brawl Stars roster.
