Can you believe that we're halfway through 2025 already? Well, it's almost a new month in the shape of June, and you know what that means for a game like Clash Royale – that's balance changes.

The drill is simple. Supercell will be sweeping up the meta by introducing several buffs and nerfs that will impact how certain cards perform. They're meant to reshape the meta and ensure that no mechanic is too overpowered.

We currently have a preview of the work-in-progress balance changes for the June season (Season 72), thanks to RoyaleAPI. The final list of changes will be confirmed shortly before they are deployed.

A handful of Card Evolutions, such as the Ice Spirit and Witch Evolution, will be nerfed as they're quite a strong force in the current meta. Meanwhile, other impactful cards that need a little boost, such as the Wizard Evolution and Rune Giant, are slated for a buff.
