Dive into the latest batch of balance changes that'll take effect during the December 2025 season of Merge Tactics in Clash Royale.
Merge Tactics has gone through a bit of a transformation in the final month of 2025. A massive update was launched prior to the start of the December season, and it shook up the meta in many respects.
For one, we saw the arrival of the Master Builder Ruler and three other new Troops. On top of that, there was a reshuffling in the Troop selection pool, Troop's Traits, and the Modifiers that players can unlock at each League.
But that's not all. December's season also embraces a new set of balance changes, which should have a positive impact on the overall meta and the power levels of the units available. These balance changes took effect in Clash Royale's Merge Tactics mode on November 24th, 2025.
All of December's Balance Changes for Merge Tactics in Clash Royale
December's balance changes for Merge Tactics are, admittedly, smaller than what we've come to expect in the past. Only three changes were implemented.
The Princess and Wizard saw their attacking stats adjusted, which allows them to be more potent attacks and, ultimately, get picked more since they weren't so popular before these changes. Meanwhile, the Royale King was buffed to grant players additional Elixir after they've lost a battle.
