Dave the Diver will be making a splash on a new platform soon.
Dave the Diver will be released worldwide on Android and iOS devices on September 17, 2026, developers Mintrocket confirmed.
The mobile version of the underwater action-adventure title was initially launched in China in February this year. The studio has since been developing and updating the port.

A mobile port of Dave the Diver first began development in 2025. The project was set out with the intention of offering players "the same experience they had on PC and console, but through the phone", according to Mintrocket.
Dave the Diver will be a free-to-download mobile game, and players can install the app through the App Store or Google Play Store to play a free demo. Players must then pay $9.99 (or the equivalent in their local currency) to unlock the full game.
Dave the Diver Mobile Will Have Mobile-Exclusive Features
Dave the Diver will launch on the platform with several mobile-exclusive features which aim to make the game more hands-on and immersive. For example, players can either tap the screen or tilt their phone to pour tea for a customer.
Mobile players can also adjust the control layout to suit their playing style. This includes adjustment options for button sizes, position on the screen, and opacity. Separate layouts can be saved for diving and the restaurant.
The underwater field of view (FOV) can be adjusted in the mobile version of Dave the Diver, which is especially helpful for devices with a smaller screen.
Teleportation is available when traveling through the Sea People's Village. Players can fast travel to NPCs using the minimap.
DLCs Will Be Available At Launch
The "In the Jungle" and "DREDGE" DLCs will be accessible for mobile players. The former will be priced at $4.99, and the latter will be available for free.
Content from past collaborations between Godzilla and Like a Dragon will not be available on the platform due to "the scope of the licensing agreements with partners."
Dave the Diver was first globally released in 2023 on PC. Since then, the game has gradually been brought to the Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
Interestingly, Dave the Diver was initially announced as a mobile game in 2018. However, the game was later reannounced as a non-mobile project in 2022.
