Unannounced The Witcher co-op game is targeting PC and Mobile release as per reports, with no mention of a console release.
According to MP1ST's sources, an unannounced game set in The Witcher universe, with the story set in the year 1230, around the time when Geralt was still a young Witcher, is currently in development.
This new The Witcher game will be a free-to-play co-op action RPG where you can create and customize your own character, with a skill-based system, allowing you to earn skill points and use them to unlock skills from different Witcher schools, etc.
The game will feature a massive open world with diverse biomes and all kinds of dangers, including massive, unique monsters to hunt. According to the report, the gameplay will be more skill-focused, featuring mechanics such as timed blocks, dodges, parries, executions, and such.
And while the Studio working on the on this unannounced co-op game or other key details are still not yet confirmed, as per the MP1ST’s source, the game will be targeting a PC and Mobile release, which makes it a separate title from the already announced Project Sirius, the multiplayer Witcher game currently in development at The Molasses Flood Studio, the Boston-based game development studio acquired by CD Projekt Red back in 2021.
From the looks of it, this new Witcher co-op game might be in work at Scopely, a veteran mobile games development studio, as CD Projekt Red did enter a partnership with them back in March 2025.
For players who don't know, since 2017, we have seen more and more high-quality mainstream games make their way to mobile, with upcoming titles like Horizon Steel Frontiers as a great example. It, too, is targeting PC and Mobile releases, similar to CD Projekt Red's unannounced Witcher co-op game.
That said, we will update this story once we have more details.
