The Group Stage of the Snapdragon Pro Series (SPS) Mobile Masters 2025 for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) has reached a thrilling conclusion. It delivered stunning upsets, standout performances, and breakout moments that left us all on the edge of our seats.

With the Playoffs on the horizon, it’s worth revisiting all the thrilling action that unfolded over the three-day Group Stage. It’s also worth looking ahead and seeing which of the six qualified teams has the best chance of lifting the trophy.

The Biggest Highlights from the Group Stage

The Group Stage took place between April 7 and 9, 2025.

Day 1: Debuts, Comebacks, and Early Statements

The tournament kicked off with a bang as Bigetron Alpha faced off against Team Liquid ID. They took Game 1 and even debuted Kalea for the first time at Snapdragon Mobile Masters, piloted by LIGHT. However, despite the early advantage, Team Liquid ID mounted a comeback to take the series 2-1.

The shock of the day came from Influence Rage, who defeated Bigetron Alpha 2-0, earning full points and throwing Group A wide open.

Meanwhile, the Chinese underdogs YBINGAME made an impressive entrance with a 2-1 win over Turkey's Papara SuperMassive.

Day 2: Regional and Local Rivalries

In one of the most anticipated matches, Indonesian titans RRQ Hoshi defeated ONIC Esports 2-0. To many, this further solidified the team’s reputation as a dominant force in the region.

Day 2 featured a feud between sister teams Team Falcons PH and Team Falcons MENA. Despite that, it was a fairly dominant performance as the Philippine squad secured a 2-0 victory. Following their performances on Day 1 and Day 2, Team Falcons MENA doesn’t appear to have found its footing after signing a new roster.

In other news, Bigetron Esports bounced back from their poor performance on Day 1 to win both of the day’s matches against YBINGAME and Papara SuperMassive. This helped the squad climb into the top 3 for Group A.

Day 3: Shocks, Close Calls, and the Final Six

The final day of the Group Stage saw Papara SuperMassive stun everyone by defeating Team Liquid ID 2-0. The result raised eyebrows, especially as Liquid had looked strong throughout the Group Stage.

Aurora Türkiye faced a do-or-die clash against ONIC Esports. A 2-0 win would have propelled them into the Playoffs, but despite a valiant effort in a 2-1 victory, they fell short on points. The day also closed with Team Falcons MENA finishing the group with zero points.

At the end of three days of intense competition, the top six teams advancing to the Playoffs are all from the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region — a testament to the region's growing dominance in MLBB esports.

Here’s a look at the six teams who made it to the Playoffs, and their chances of lifting the SPS Mobile Masters 2025 trophy.

Bigetron Alpha

To many, Bigetron's qualification for the Playoffs was quite a surprise. While not the most consistent team, they’ve shown glimpses of brilliance. It’s moments like these that could see the team be an underdog with massive upset potential. If their key player Emann remains unchecked, they could pull off a miracle run like they did in SPS Season 3.

ONIC Esports

ONIC scraped into the Playoffs with a third-place finish in the Group Stage. Losses to RRQ Hoshi and Aurora Türkiye exposed some cracks in the team’s strategy. They’ll need to reset and improve quickly if they want to make any progress in the competition.

ONIC PH

A consistent powerhouse from SPS Season 6, ONIC PH dropped only one point across the entire Group Stage. They are strong favorites to win the competition as their teamplay and adaptability are among the world’s best.

RRQ Hoshi

RRQ finished the Group Stage undefeated, sweeping every match 2-0. Their synergy, impeccable map control, and confident play make them an unstoppable force. It will certainly take a mountainous effort to defeat these giants.

Team Falcons

Team Falcons may have had a few shaky performances during the Group Stage against ONIC Esports and RRQ Hoshi, but their solid chemistry and vast experience make them a dark horse that no team should underestimate.

Team Liquid ID

Team Liquid ID had a solid Group Stage that was only soured by a last-minute upset loss to Papara SuperMassive. Their form fluctuates, which makes them a bit of a wildcard, but if they can regain focus and bring their A-game to the Playoffs, they will be a formidable team to go up against.

The Competition Continues…

The Group Stage was the end of the road for several notable teams. This includes Aurora Türkiye, Alpha 7 Esports, Influence Rage, Papara SuperMassive, Team Falcons MENA, and YBINGAME. While their journey ends here, some of these squads — like Aurora and Papara — showed promise and could return stronger in future tournaments.

With all six Playoff teams coming from the APAC region, one thing is clear: Teams from the Asia-Pacific came to win. As we head into the Playoffs, the battles will only get fiercer. Can RRQ Hohsi continue their flawless run? Will ONIC PH bring glory to the Philippines? Or will another team stage a surprise?

Stay tuned — the Playoffs for the Snapdragon Pro Series Mobile Masters 2025 are just getting started.
