He's a sneaky lizard with a gun!
This sneaky snake is Drek'ar, and he's one of the toughest characters in Omega Strikers.
A seasoned soldier being raised in a militaristic alien society that focused purely on destruction and taking over other planets.
He was on many tours but never felt like he was in the right place; killing just wasn't his cup of tea.
One day his transport pod failed while he was in a solar system close to Earth's.
Eventually, he came in contact with Atlas, and they became friends.
Drek'ar then finally saw people playing for the sake of having fun, and that is what made him want to learn how to play and love the game Omega Strikers!
Drek'ar's Abilities
Here's a look at Drek'ar's abilities:
- Xeno Cloak: Gain a BUFF that grants invisibility and 50% HASTE for 1s
- Lock and Load: Fire a spread of PROJECTILES 0.15s after casting, while stopping Drek'ar from being able to move for 0.25s that deals a HEAVY hit to nearby enemies but a LIGHT hit too far ones. 2 charges.
- Molten Bolt: Launch a sticky bomb PROJECTILE that deals a MEDIUM hit and DEBUFFS the first enemy struck for 2.5s, slowing and damaging them over time. The DEBUFF can spread to nearby enemies.
How To Play Drek'ar
Drek'ar is in a unique spot as a character due to his being able to pop in and out of invisibility and get a huge speed buff.
Being able to not be seen by opponents is a great skill because it lets you reposition as Drek'ar on the attack.
This will open up options for you as well, like being able to trick out the opponent by not letting them see what angle you're lining up for your shot or even getting behind their defence to hit them all with the Molten Bolt special debuff.
Molten Bolt is great to shoot off whenever it's off of cooldown because it can spread to other opponents from the initial one who was hit.
His primary attack, Lock and Load, is also deceptively strong because it fires in a spread to anyone who is near him; using invisibility is good to set up this attack on the opponent.
