The Playoffs were nothing short of high-stakes battles and dramatic turns as teams vied for a spot in the Grand Final of the SPS Mobile Masters 2025.

With just two teams left standing, the Snapdragon Pro Series (SPS) Mobile Masters 2025 for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) is heading toward an epic conclusion.
But, the road to the Grand Final was anything but predictable. From fierce regional rivalries to redemption arcs and strategic masterclasses, the Playoffs delivered some of the most intense action of the tournament so far.
Quarterfinals: Familiar Faces, Unexpected Results
The Quarterfinals kicked off with a grudge match between Team Falcons and Bigetron Alpha. Once dubbed the “PH Team Slayers” back in SPS Season 3, Bigetron looked like they might rekindle that underdog magic after qualifying to this stage to much surprise.

But this time, the magic ran dry. Despite flashes of promise, a string of costly mistakes — particularly from Anavel — left the Indonesian squad scrambling to recover. Team Falcons PH capitalized on every opportunity and closed out the match with a commanding 3-1 victory.
On the other side of the bracket, ONIC Esports and Team Liquid ID reignited their rivalry. These two squads had already faced off twice in SPS history, with each team winning one match each.

Liquid took Game 1 with strong map control, but ONIC Esports hit back in Game 2. Team Liquid ID shut things down quickly in the following matches, eventually securing a 3-1 victory and knocking ONIC out of the tournament.
Semifinals: Rivalries Between Teams Ignite
Two mouthwatering matchups unfolded in the Semifinals. First up: an all-Filipino clash between ONIC PH and Team Falcons. With a Grand Final slot on the line, both teams came in swinging. Team Falcons opened with relentless early aggression. Despite this, ONIC PH stayed calm and outmaneuvered their opponents with smarter rotations.
The result was a decisive 3-1 win for ONIC PH, sending them to yet another international final and proving once again why they’re one of the world’s best squads.
Meanwhile, RRQ Hoshi and Team Liquid ID squared off in a battle of Indonesian titans. Both teams had a history. Liquid had previously eliminated RRQ Hoshi in MPL ID Season 14 and the M6 World Championship.

This time, however, RRQ Hoshi was on a mission. With lightning-fast tempo and sharp execution, they dismantled Team Liquid ID a matchup that lasted only 14 minutes. The 3-1 victory for RRQ Hoshi not only avenged the team’s past losses but also preserved their unbeaten record at SPS Mobile Masters 2025.
The Road to the Grand Final — Who Will Come Out on Top?

Only two teams remain as we head into the Grand Final: ONIC PH and RRQ Hoshi.
ONIC PH has been the picture of consistency across international stages as of late. M6 World Championship winner. Victors at Season 6’s SPS Mobile Challenge Finals for the Asia-Pacific. And now, Grand Finalists at SPS Mobile Masters 2025.
While their MPL PH S15 regular season had a few bumps, the Philippines-based squad has since made a strong strategic pivot that has kept them sharp in this tournament. With innovative hero combos — like the Kalea and Luo Yi setup — and a confident yet calculated approach, they look like the team to beat.
On the flip side, RRQ Hoshi is quite the foe to go up against. Their undefeated run through the tournament’s Group Stage and Playoffs has certainly turned heads. Mind you, this is only the Indonesian’s second international tournament, yet they’ve already taken down powerful teams such as Team Liquid ID.

Their aggressive playstyle and sharp team coordination have made them one of the most dangerous squads in the tournament. They’ve defeated ONIC PH before, back in Season 6’s SPS Open Finals. Now, in the Grand Final, they have a chance to do it again — this time, with a major championship on the line.
It’s a showdown between two high-flying teams. ONIC PH’s consistency versus RRQ Hoshi’s hunger. Two countries, two titans, but only one trophy. When the dust settles at the Grand Final of the SPS Mobile Masters 2025, only one team will stand above the rest.
