Bling Replaces Star Points In The Newest Brawl Stars Update

Supercell has added Bling to Brawl Stars as a new currency to replace the outgoing Star Points.

Bling is a new in-game currency in Brawl Stars that has replaced Star Points in the recent update. It lets you buy cosmetics such as Skins, Pins, Sprays, and Profile Icons.

Depending on how active you are in Brawl Stars, it's expected - according to the devs - that you'll be able to earn enough Bling in a year to purchase around 8 Epic Skins worth 149 Gems.

This number will increase if you get the seasonal Brawl Pass. This comes as the new update has replaced the Tier 1 skin and Pin Pack on the Brawl Pass with Bling.

Bling is useful for discounting the cost of Skins in the game. As it's a flexible currency, you can top off a Bling purchase with Gems, or vice versa, depending on which currency you're low on.

You can use Bling at a place called the 'Catalog.' In the Catalog, you can purchase most cosmetics released in Brawl Stars. These include Pins, Sprays, Profile Icons, and Skins. You can access the Catalog through the Shop or from the brawler page.

Unfortunately, you cannot purchase Seasonal, Special event, and Exclusive cosmetics as well as Mythic and Legendary Skins with Bling.

When a new skin is released, it will only be available for Gems or as an in-app purchase for two weeks before becoming purchasable with Bling. However, at least one skin per update will be made immediately available for you to purchase with Bling.
