Earlier this year, Supercell CEO Ilkka Paananen revealed that they were in the process of developing five new mobile games. Shortly after that, the squad-building title 'Squad Busters' was announced. With this new game unveiled, we finally knew one of the many other games that were on their way.

Now, we can finally let out a sigh of relief as the second mobile game has been announced: a tactical combat-based game called Floodrush.

Battle It Out Against Other Players To Dominate Your Island In Floodrush

Stylized as a real-time strategy (RTS) action mobile game, the gameplay in Floodrush revolves around 8 players, otherwise known as 'Seekers', that rush to collect treasure on the island and battle against other players.

Players can choose from three Seeker characters at the beginning of a match. From there, they can summon a crew and fight to dominate the island before it sinks. Players can cast bombs, throw nets, and deploy other explosives to either defend themselves or go on the offensive.

Floodrush will have its own unique set of troops. These include characters such as the Boxer Crab, Lava Rex, Pistol Fish, Raptors, and more. To get new troops, they'll need to find cards to build them.

Floodrush entered an Android-only limited open beta between May 29 and June 7. Players in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, the UK, and the US will only be allowed to participate.
