In a recent teaser, Riot has confirmed Aatrox and Kayn as two new champions that will be coming to Wild Rift in patch 3.5.
With the release of patch 3.4c, we're one step closer to patch 3.5. With every new update, we're treated to various new champions. Patch 3.4 saw the addition of Gwen, Yone, Warwick, and Vex. Rumors were circulating about who we could see in the new update - especially after a cryptic reference-laden blog post the Wild Rift devs had released last week. With very little information to go off on, multiple names were raised but none could be substantiated.
However, we can now rest easy as it is now confirmed that Aatrox and Kayn will be coming to Wild Rift in patch 3.5. This was revealed in a recent teaser from the devs:

Both champions are masters of the Darkin arts. Fans of Riot mobile games might be able to connect the dots between Wild Rift and Legends of Runeterra. The latter game is currently in midst of a three-part expansion saga based on the lore revolving around the ancient Darkins.
It is still unclear if Aatrox and Kayn will be the only new champions. However, we can expect to have more information revealed on November 3.
Patch 3.5 will be released on November 17.
