Wild Rift Patch 6.1b Notes: All Buffs, Nerfs, Adjustments & Reworks

We'll dive into all the balance changes that were made live in Patch 6.1b of Wild Rift.

The second patch for the 6.1 era in League of Legends: Wild Rift has landed, and it brings with it some serious balance changes.

It includes buffs, nerfs, adjustments, and even reworks that impact a wide variety of Champions. Overall, the changes from Patch 6.1b are meant to adjust each character to be more in line with the playstyle and tempo of the current meta.

So, say goodbye to some of the more overpowered mechanics and say hello to a more balanced playing field.

All Wild Rift Patch 6.1b Balance Changes

Buffs

For the most part, the buffs will be uplifting many junglers, such as Evelynn and Vi, who often find it hard to compete with their contemporaries. Besides this, some buffs were applied to Champions who find themselves struggling in certain aspects of the game.

  • Base Health increased from 690 → 720
Pulverize:
  • Cooldown decreased from 15/13.5/12/10.5 seconds → 13.5/12/10.5/9 seconds
EvelynnHate Spike:
  • Ability Power ratio increased from 40% → 50%
Last Caress:
  • Cooldown decreased from 95/80/65 seconds → 90/75/60 seconds
Jarvan IVCataclysm:
  • Cooldown decreased from 75/70/65 seconds → 70/65/60 seconds
Demacian Standard:
  • Base Damage increased from 80/135/190/245 → 85/140/195/250
  • Attack Speed bonus from Passive increased from 20/25/30/35% → 25/30/35/40%
OlafReckless Swing:
  • Damage ratio to monsters increased from 80% → 95%
Undertow:
  • Base Damage increased from 50/110/170/230 → 50/120/190/260
SettBase Stats:
  • Base Health regeneration increased from 7.5 → 10
  • Health per level regeneration increased from 0.55 → 0.8
Knuckle Down:
  • Movement Speed improved increased from 30% → 35%
Pit Grit:
  • Right punch damage increased from 7 × champion level + 50% bonus Attack Damage → 9 × champion level + 50% bonus Attack Damage
ShenTwilight Assault:
  • Damage to minions increased from 100% → 150%
VexDoom ‘n Gloom:
  • Damage increased from 16 + 8 × champion level + 20% Ability Power → 16 + 10 × champion level + 25% Ability Power
Mistral Bolt:
  • Cooldown decreased from 8/7/6/5 seconds → 7/6/5/4 seconds
ViDenting Blows:
  • Damage to maximum Health increased from 4.3%-8.5% + bonus 0.03% Attack Damage → 4.8%-9%+ bonus 0.03% Attack Damage
Vault Breaker:
  • Base Damage increased from 55/90/125/160 to 110/180/250/320 → 60/95/130/165 to 120/190/260/330
Xin Zhao

Audacious Charge:

  • Base Damage increased from 50/85/120/155 → 55/90/125/160
  • Attack Speed increased increased from 40/47.5/55/62.5% → 45/52.5/60/67.5%

Nerfs

Some of you will be glad to see that Gnar and Nasus have been nerfed. These much-needed downgrades, which also affect Amumu and Ryze, will curb these Champions' dominant grip on the meta.

  • Cooldown increased from 12/11.5/11/10.5 seconds → 13/12.5/12/11.5 seconds
Curse of the Sad Mummy:
  • Cooldown increased from 95/85/75 seconds → 105/95/85 seconds
GnarHyper:
  • Bonus Damage of the 3rd attack decreased from 6.5/9/11.5/14% target’s maximum Health → 6/8/10/12% target’s maximum Health
Rage Gene:
  • Bonus Attack Speed decreased from 0%~110% → 0%~90%
NasusBase Stats:
  • Base Attack Damage decreased from 66 → 62
  • Base Attack Damage per level increased from 4.55 → 5
  • Magic resistance decreased from 38 → 32
Siphoning Strike:
  • Base Damage decreased from 30/60/90/120 → 20/50/80/110
  • Cooldown increased from 6.5/5.5/4.5/3.5 seconds → 7/6/5/4 seconds
Soul Eater:
  • Physical Vamp decreased from 12/18/24% (increased by level 1/5/9) → 8/16/24% (increased by level 1/5/9)
Ryze

Base Stats:

  • Base Health decreased from 690 → 660
Overload:
  • Damage decreased from 90/115/140/165+50% Ability Power + 2% bonus mana → 80/105/130/155+45% Ability Power + 2% bonus mana
Spell Flux:
  • Cooldown decreased from 80/120/160/200 + 45% Ability Power + 2% bonus mana → 80/110/140/170 + 40% Ability Power + 2% bonus mana

Adjustments

Yasuo Wild Rift

A few adjustments will be handed out in Patch 6.1b. The biggest one of them all affects Yasuo, who sees him get more crit scaling from items, but some nerfs to his base damage, so he doesn't become too overpowered.

Power Chord
  • [New] Grants full stack of passive when respawn
  • [Adjustment] Stacks are only consumed when attacking champions or epic monsters
Yasuo

Base Stats:

  • Base Attack Damage decreased from 62 → 58
  • Base Health increased from 600 → 630
  • Health per level increased from 112 → 120
Steel Tempest:
  • Base Damage decreased from 25/60/95/130 → 25/55/85/115
  • Crit Damage adjusted from 25/60/95/130 + 165% Attack Damage → 25/55/85/115 + 175% Attack Damage
  • Crit Damage with Infinity Edge adjusted from 25/60/95/130 + 195% Attack Damage → 25/55/85/115 + 205% Attack Damage
Way of the Wanderer:
  • [Removed] Reducing crit damage by 10%
  • Every 1% excessive crit converted to bonus Attack Damage increased from 0.4 Attack Damage → 0.6 Attack Damage
  • Shield duration decreased from 1.5 seconds → 1 second

Reworks

Garen Wild Rift

Garen and Yone will both be reworked in this Patch. Garen, whose changes will only be made live on May 29, will transform from a Tank Champion to someone who can be more of a fighter in battle. Yone simply has his benefits from crit items reworked.

  • [Removed] Casting Courage grants Garen up to 70% damage reduction within 1 second
  • [New] Passive: Gains 10% bonus armor and magic resistance
  • [New] Active: Grants a shield that decays over 2.5 seconds, absorbing 65 / 95 / 125 / 155 (+20% bonus Health) damage
Judgement:
  • [Removed] Enemies hit by the edge of the blade storm take critical damage
  • [New] The number of spins increases with champion level, up to a maximum of 11 spins
  • [New] Ending Judgment early reduces its cooldown
  • [New] After hitting an enemy champion 6 times, Judgment applies 25% Armor Shred for 4.5 seconds
  • [New] Deals 20% increased damage to the nearest enemy
YoneMortal Steel:
  • Crit Damage increased from 30/50/70/90 + 165% Attack Damage → 30/50/70/90 + 175% Attack Damage
  • Crit Damage with Infinity Edge increased from 30/50/70/90 + 195% Attack Damage → 30/50/70/90 + 205% Attack Damage
Spirit Cleave:
  • Bonus Damage decreased from 12/13/14/15% target’s maximum Health → 11/12/13/14% target’s maximum Health
Way of the Hunter:
  • [Removed] Reducing crit damage by 10%
  • Every 1% excessive crit converted to bonus Attack Damage increased from 0.4 Attack Damage → 0.6 Attack Damage

Patch 6.1b will also introduce five new Champion Skins.
