Like other titles in Riot Games' illustrious catalog, Wild Rift is a game that undergoes regular and constant updates. Players can expect a patch to be released as often as every few weeks. In it, there could be balance changes, new champions, novel cosmetics, and more.

But, we empathize with a large portion of players who don't always know when the next update will be dropped. So, we've put together a handy guide that you can use to keep track of when the next patch will be released in Wild Rift.

The next Wild Rift update, patch 4.4, will be released on October 12, 2023.

Riot previously hinted that Arena (a 2v2v2v2 game mode) and Little Legends will be added to the game in a future patch. It is unclear if either feature will be introduced in patch 4.4. New champions, skins, balance changes, and items are also expected to be added in the coming update.

The last Wild Rift patch, patch 4.3, was released on July 19, 2023. It introduced new champions, skins, gameplay adjustments, champion reworks, and more.

  • If you're looking to improve in Wild Rift, then you can start with what the pro players usually use: finger sleeves. They help reduce sweat and make sure your fingers stay comfortable throughout matches.

Who Are The Next Wild Rift Champions?

Fiddlesticks, Nocturne, Sivir, and Zyra are believed to be the new champions coming in the next update.

While the latter three champions are pure speculation based on the rumors spreading from within the Wild Rift community, Fiddlesticks has been teased for a long time now. He is seemingly guaranteed to come in the upcoming patch.

He was first hinted at in a reference-laden post released in 2022. In it, Riot mentioned "crows spying on us", which can only be concluded to be a hint at Fiddlesticks. He was a boy that was fed to crows and came back a demon.

Though we mentioned four champions, it's par for the course that only three new champions will be released in every new patch, so one of these names may not come in the next update.
