With the end of the Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile closed alpha, thoughts have been turning to the next steps for the highly anticipated battle royale, and it looks like all will be revealed at the Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile Global Summit set to be held in London on November 13-14.

The event hasn't been officially announced, but COD: Mobile content creators have begun receiving mysterious packages which include invitations to the event. Wrapped in brown wrapping paper and tied with string, inside appears to be a letter marked 'classified', a leather wallet, and a card featuring Big Ben.

As the packages began appearing across social media, the official Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile Twitter account confirmed they were behind it, stating they'd been sent to "operators across the globe," and contained "mission intel on the next phase of #WarzoneMobile."

What Can We Expect From The COD: Warzone Mobile Global Summit?

What will take place at the event is less certain, though it will likely be similar in nature - if not scope - to the COD: Next franchise showcase that took place in September.

Those invited to that event were also sent a package beforehand. Taking place in an aircraft hangar in Los Angeles, it gave us our first official look at Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Warzone 2.0, and Warzone Mobile.

Warzone Mobile got the least airtime back then, and this November event will likely rectify that.

News of this London event comes days after the end of the closed alpha. Since then, the developers have been silent about the future of the game, with the exception being the appearance of an in-game announcement revealing that another round of testing was to start immediately and finish on November 28.

This new testing phase was also set to feature Team Deathmatch and Domination game modes, but the announcement came down as soon as it went up.

Warzone Mobile potentially getting game modes outside of the expected battle royale came as a surprise to many, with some that meant for Call of Duty: Mobile - a game set to mark three years since its release this month with an anniversary update. If Warzone Mobile also features small-lobby game modes, does it effectively replace the older title?

Hopefully, we'll find out the answers to that question on November 13.
