It's only been two weeks since Riot released the game-changing update, patch 4.2, in Wild Rift, but the dev team is chugging forward with a brand-new minor update in patch 4.2a.

In it, we'll see the arrival of sweeping newbalance changes that are set to reshape the meta and future gameplay. Ornn and Volibear will finally be added to the champion roster. Besides this, novel skins and cosmetics will be making their way to the game.

But, let's circle back to what's important here - the balance changes. Unlike previous game updates, patch 4.2a is set to be one of the biggest batches of balance changes in Wild Rift to date. Riot has released the full patch notes detailing the buffs, nerfs, and adjustments that were released on June 9, 2023.

Buffs are in abundance for the upcoming update. Here's a complete look at all the champion and item buffs in Wild Rift patch 4.2a:

  • Hemorrhage Bleed damage per stack increased from 11.5 - 31 → 14.5 - 34

Ezreal
  • Base attack damage per level increased from 3.6 → 4
  • Base attack speed increased from 20% → 30%
  • Mystic Shot base damage increased from 30/65/100/135 → 35/70/105/140
  • Trueshot barrage cooldown decreased from 70 seconds → 70/65/60 seconds
Galio
  • Hero's Entrance cooldown decreased from 110/100/90 seconds → 100/90/80 seconds
Graves
  • New Destiny crit increased from 6 bullets and 120% damage each → 6 bullets and 130% damage each
  • New Destiny crit with Infinity Edge increased from 6 bullets and 130% each → 6 bullets and 140% damage each

  • Darkin Scythe energy required for transformation decreased from 8,000 → 7,000
  • Darkin Scythe energy gained from damaging ranged champions increased from 18 → 24

Miss Fortune
  • Base attack damage increased from 52 → 54
  • Love Tap bonus damage when attacking a new target increased from 44% - 100% attack damage → 49% - 105% attack damage
Pantheon
  • Base mana increased from 390 → 420
  • Base mana regeneration increased from 9 → 12
  • Comet Spear bonus attack damage ratio increased from 110% → 120%
  • Comet Spear Mortal Will bonus attack damage ratio increased from 110% → 120%
  • Comet Spear cooldown return on not releasing increased from 50% → 60%
  • Grand Starfall Spear damage bonus attack damage ratio increased from 110% → 120%
Pyke
  • Base armor per level increased from 4.3 → 5
  • Base magic resistance per level increased from 1.6 → 2.5
  • Gift of the Drowned One stored damage cap increased from 60% health and 140 + 800% the lower value of the bonus attack damage → 65% health and 160 + 800% the lower value of the bonus attack damage

  • Pit Grit right hook bonus damage increased from Level 5 + 50% bonus attack damage → Level 7 + 50% bonus attack damage
  • Haymaker ability damage increased from (25% + 0.2% bonus attack damage) of Grit consumption → (25% + 0.25% bonus attack damage) of Grit consumption
Urgot
  • Purge on-hit effect ratio increased from 50% → 70%
  • Fear Beyond Death bonus attack damage ratio increased from 50% → 70%
Vayne
  • Base attack speed increased from 20% → 30%
  • Base attack speed per level increased from 2.2% → 3.2%

Essence Reaver

  • Essence Flare cooldown decreased from 6 seconds → 4 seconds
  • Ability damage ratio increased from crit rate x 30% → 20% + crit rate x 10%

  • Battle Furor physical vamp decreased from 10% → 5%
Phantom Dancer
  • Additional cost increased from 400 gold → 500 gold
  • Total cost decreased from 2,900 gold → 3,000 gold

Rift Herald
  • Health loss on charge decreased from current health level x 70% → 70% of the current health or 30% of the maximum health (the higher of the two)
